This summer, Europe will become a giant classroom for 35,511 young explorers.
DiscoverEU is an action of the Erasmus+ programme. It aims at offering young people aged 18-years old a travel experience that will foster their sense of belonging to the European Union, allow them to explore the diversity of Europe, its cultural heritage and history, connect with people from all over the continent and ultimately discover themselves.
European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth Iliana Ivanova is thrilled with the record number of applications for the DiscoverEU program. She sees this as a positive sign for youth engagement in European culture and history.
